After reading all of your many HuSi cycling exploits, I've decided to join el bandwagono and purchase myself a bike.  Plus, I'm participating in a mini-triatholon in a few months and didn't have a bike to ride, so this worked out well.  Pic inside.

Also, some DotNet ramblings.

Richard Stallman came to my alma mater last Friday for a f(/F)ree GNU/speech. I'd always heard about his zealotry and saw it ridiculed on geek sites like /., but I'd never really read anything that he's written besides most of the GPL. So, I was curious to hear what he had to say.

Inside: My thoughts on RMS & his speech, general life update, poll about barbequeing.

Funny stuff
By Jave27 (Wed Mar 30, 2005 at 02:38:01 AM EST) (all tags)
I believe we've reached a point in this Terry Schiavo debacle that we, as a community, need to show our support either for or against the life of this poor woman.  So, as a gesture of goodwill to the world, I present you with the first ever Offical HuSi Shiavo Poetry/Rap Contest.  If you have any literary skills whatsoever, you are cordially invited to submit an entry.  We will democratically vote for a winner once this contest has come to a conclusion.  If Terry could talk, she would tell us that this is exactly what she would have wanted.

Rules and list of prizes are located inside.

The NCAA Tournament combined with St. Patty's day and the fact that half of my office just left to go drinking early has left me 100% apathetic to finishing out the day during real work.

So, enter stage left, a HuSi diary.

The epic saga that began here, continued here, I got over it here, then it took a strange twist resulting in us getting back together here, then I wrote about it in a poem, then I bought this ring, has completed its cycle with her acceptance of said ring.  My most recent adventure, "The Quest for the Binding Ring", is located inside, along with some pictures of us at the dance.

K's status as my girlfriend will soon change to fiance, and I couldn't be happier.  She knows it's going to happen eventually, but has no idea I'm planning it right now.  I have no doubts that she'll say no.  Inside are pics of the ring I just ordered and my (not-so-)evil plan...

About 3 weeks ago, a masked man wielding a high powered laser apparatus decided to slice open my eyeballs and play around inside each of them.  The result?  I now have better than 20/20 vision without the assistance of glasses or contacts.  Inside contains my tale...

Print Story Reasons to Sedate
Working life

Feeling blindingly inept, he tries to contemplate
solutions unfathomable, but can't separate
possible from not, his drive evaporates,
leaving him empty, alone, feeling lightweight.
He calls out for help, his mind only exacerbates
the problem's severity, placing him in checkmate.
